The IKP39N65ES5 TRENCHSTOP™5 IGBT is the next generation of thin-wafer IGBTs (insulated gate bipolar transistors) with significantly reduced conduction and switching losses compared to other leading IGBTs today. TRENCHSTOP 5 is designed for applications with switching frequencies higher than 10kHz. The wafer thickness is reduced by more than 25%, greatly improving the switching and conduction loss, and increasing the breakdown voltage to 650V.
