The LTC3106EUDC is a highly integrated, ultra-low voltage step-down DC/DC converter with automatic PowerPath management, optimised for multi-source, low power systems. At no load, the current consumption is only 1.6µA output voltage up to 5 V. If the main power supply is unavailable, switching to the backup power supply is seamless. The device is compatible with rechargeable or primary batteries and can trickle charge the backup battery in case of excess energy. Optional maximum power point control ensures optimal power transfer between the power supply and the load.
