Key features of the IC are an extended safe operating area (SOA), output current monitor, temperature monitor, and programmable current limit.The LT3089EDF can be connected in parallel to provide higher output current or dissipate heat. The device can withstand reverse input and reverse output to input voltage with no reverse current.
