The TPS53314RGFR is a D-CAP™ mode, 6A synchronous switch with an integrated MOSFET. The device is designed for ease of use, low external component count and small package power systems.

The device features single-rail input support, a 20-mΩ and a 7.5-mΩ integrated MOSFET, 1% accuracy, 0.6 V reference, and an integrated boost switch. Some of the competitive features include > 96% maximum efficiency, a wide input voltage range of 3 V to 15 V, ultra-low external component count, D-CAP™ mode control for ultra-fast transient response, selectable auto-jump and PWM operation, internal soft-start control, and adjustable frequency without compensation.

The conversion input voltage range is 3 V to 15 V, the supply voltage range is 4.5 V to 25 V, and the output voltage range is 0.6 V to 5.5 V.

The TPS53314 is available in a 5 mm × 7 mm 40-pin QFN package and has a specified temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
