The PM40036B1-F3EI fan-out PCIe® switch supports up to 100 channels, 52 ports, 26 virtual switch partitions, and 48 non-transparent bridges (NTBs). In addition, the PFX switches provide hot-plug and snap-plug controllers for each port, advanced error control, comprehensive diagnostics and debugging capabilities, a variety of I/O interfaces, and an integrated MIPS processor. Comprehensive diagnostics and debugging include PCIe generators and analysers, per-port performance and error counters, multiple loopback modes, and real-time eye chart capture.
