The LTC4370CMS is a dual power current sharing controller with a built-in MOSFET ideal diode. These diodes are responsible for isolating the reverse current and through current in startup and fault situations. The forward voltage can be adjusted to share the load current between power sources. Unlike other current sharing methods, this device does not require a shared bus or trimming pin to be laid on the power supply. Typical applications include redundant power supplies, high-availability systems and servers, telecommunications and network infrastructure.
