The Olympus family of integrated circuits is the industry's smallest and most powerful integrated system protection solution. Its MAX17525ATP adjustable overvoltage, undervoltage and overcurrent protection device protects the system from overcurrent faults as well as forward overvoltage and reverse voltage faults. The device also protects downstream circuits from voltage faults up to +60°C when combined with an optional external pMOSFET. When used with an optional external pMOSFET, the device also protects downstream circuits from voltage faults up to +60V and -60V (for -(60V +VOUT) the device features a 31mΩ low on-resistance integrated FET.
