The DS99R124AQSQX converts FPD-Link II, which is a high-speed serial interface with embedded clocks, into three LVDS data/control streams and one LVDS clock pair (FPD-Link) via a single pair (FPD-Link II). This serial bus scheme greatly simplifies system design by eliminating offset issues between clock and data, reducing the number of connector pins, reducing the size, weight and cost of the interconnects, and generally simplifying PCB layout. In addition, internal DC balanced decoding is used to support AC coupled interconnects.
