The LTC4359HDCB is a forward high voltage ideal diode controller that drives an external N-channel MOSFET in place of a Schottky diode. It controls the forward voltage drop across the MOSFET to ensure smooth current delivery without oscillation, even at light loads. A fast shutdown function minimises transient reverse currents in the event of a power failure or short circuit. Shutdown mode reduces quiescent current to 9µA for load switching and 14µA for ideal diode applications.
