The LTC4415IMSE contains two monolithic PowerPath ideal diodes, each capable of supplying up to 4A with a typical forward conduction resistance of 50mΩ. The diode's voltage drop is regulated to 15mV during forward conduction at low currents, which extends the power supply's operating range and ensures that there are no oscillations when switching power supplies. The reverse current from OUT to IN is less than 1µA making the device ideal for power ORing applications. Priority is determined by inputs EN1 and EN2. The output current limit is independently adjustable from 0.5A to 4A with a resistor on the CLIM pin. The output current limit of the CLIM pin can be adjusted independently via a resistor on the CLIM pin. In addition, the ideal diode current can be monitored via the CLIM pin voltage.
