The TPS62816QWRWYRQ1 device is an easy-to-use synchronous buck DC-DC converter. It is based on the peak current mode control topology. It is designed for use in automotive applications such as entertainment information and advanced driver assistance systems. Low resistance switches support continuous output currents up to 6A. The switching frequency can be adjusted externally in the range of 1.8MHz to 4MHz, and can also be synchronized to an external clock in this frequency range.
