The TPS62243QDDCRQ1 are high efficiency synchronous DC/DC buck converters that provide a fixed output voltage and up to 300 mA of output current. These devices have low power consumption and are suitable for battery-powered/always-on automotive applications such as Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) or Passive Entry Start (PEPS) fob and base stations. The devices have an input voltage range of 2 V to 6 V and support applications powered by Li-Mn batteries. Applications powered by lithium-manganese coin cells, lithium-ion batteries, two (2S) and three (3S) alkaline batteries, (3S) alkaline batteries, and 3.3 V and 5 V input voltage rails are supported. Operation The TPS62243QDDCRQ1 operates at a fixed switching frequency of 2.25 MHz at high load currents and operates at a 2.25-MHz fixed switching frequency at high load currents and enters power-saving mode operation at light load currents, thereby maintaining high efficiency and low power consumption throughout the operating time.
