The LT8646SIV synchronous buck regulator features a second generation quiet switcher architecture designed to minimise EMI emissions while providing high efficiency at high switching frequencies. This includes integrated bypass capacitors to optimise all internal fast current loops for current looping and easily achieve advertised levels of EMI performance by eliminating layout sensitivities. Fast, clean, low overshoot switching edges enable efficient operation even at high switching frequencies, reducing the overall solution size. Peak current mode control with 40ns minimum on-time enables high step-down ratios even at high switching frequencies. the LT8646SIV features external compensation for current sharing and fast transient response at high switching frequencies. the LT8646SIV operating modes enable ultra-low standby current consumption, and pulse-skipping modes enable full switching frequency at lower output load or Spread spectrum operation further reduces EMI emissions.
