The TPS22975DSGT is a single-channel load switch offering configurable rise times to minimise inrush current. This device incorporates an N-channel metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) operating within an input voltage range of 0.6 V to 5.7 V and supporting a maximum continuous current of 6 A. The switch is controlled by an ON/OFF input (ON), which can be directly connected to a low-voltage control signal. The TPS22975DSGT incorporates an optional 230Ω on-chip load resistor for rapid output discharge when the switch is turned off.

The TPS22975DSGT is housed in a compact, space-saving 2mm × 2mm 8-pin SON package (DSG). An integrated thermal pad enables the device to dissipate high power. It is rated for operation over a natural convection ambient temperature range of –40°C to +105°C.
