Overview:

The LMH6401IRMZR is a broadband, digitally controlled variable gain amplifier (DVGA) for DC-to-RF, intermediate frequency (IF), and high-speed time-domain applications. This device serves as an ideal ADC driver for DC- or AC-coupled applications requiring automatic gain control (AGC).

The LMH6401IRMZR is optimised for noise and distortion performance to drive ultra-wideband ADCs. The amplifier exhibits a noise figure of 8 dB at maximum gain and harmonic distortion of -63 dBc at 1 GHz full-scale signal level. The device supports both single-supply and split-supply operation for driving ADCs. It provides a common-mode reference input pin to ensure the amplifier output common-mode meets ADC input requirements.
