The LMH2832IRHAR is a highly linear dual-channel digital Variable gain amplifier (DVGA) for high-speed signal chains and data acquisition systems.

Description:

The LMH2832 is optimized for high bandwidth, low distortion, and low noise, making it ideal for use as a driver for dual 14-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). This device contains a fixed-gain module and a variable attenuator with a total gain of 30dB and a maximum attenuation of 39dB. The gain range is -9 dB to 30dB, the gain step is 1dB, and the gain accuracy is ±0.2dB. The input impedance can be easily matched to a 50-ω or 75-ω system using a 1:3Ω or 1:2Ω ratio balanced-unbalanced converter, respectively.

The LMH2832 is designed to drive general-purpose ADCs and meets the requirements of the Cable Data Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) 3.32 orthogonal amplitude modulation (QAM) carrier and DOCSIS 3.1 wideband orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems.

With excellent NF (6.5dB) and linearity, the LMH2832 is DOCSIS compliant. The static current in the power-off state is less than 5mA per channel, while the typical current consumption during operation is 105mA per channel.
