The LAN7801T-I/9JX is an ultra-high-speed USB3 Gen1 to 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet bridge that offers a high-performance and cost-effective USB-to-RGMII connection solution. The LAN7801 includes an integrated USB PHY, a high-speed USB 2.0 device controller, a SuperSpeed USB3 Gen1 device controller, a 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet MAC, an integrated OTP, and an EEPROM controller.

This device implements control, interrupt, batch input and batch output of USB endpoints. The LAN7801T-I/9JX Ethernet controller supports RGMII connection to external physical interfaces. Usb-based networks provide flexibility for routing and placing network connections at any location in the system. Usb-based solutions utilize the existing USB stack as an Ethernet driver. The LAN7801T-I/9JX also offers a variety of drivers, including Windows®, Mac® and Linux®.
