The ADP1763ACPZ-1.0 is a low-noise, low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator. It operates on a single input power supply with an input voltage as low as 1.10 V, eliminating the need for an external bias power supply to improve efficiency, and provides an output current of up to 3 A.

The ADP1763ACPZ-1.0 features a low dropout voltage of as low as 95 mV (typical, 3 A load), with a small operating margin while maintaining regulation and providing higher efficiency.

The ADP1763ACPZ-1.0 is optimised to operate stably with a small 10 μF ceramic output capacitor. The ADP1763ACPZ-1.0 offers excellent transient response performance and occupies minimal board space.

The ADP1763ACPZ-1.0 provides a fixed output voltage ranging from 0.9 V to 1.5 V. The output in adjustable mode can be set to 0.5 V to 1.5 V by connecting an external resistor between VADJ and ground. 

The ADP1763ACPZ-1.0 connects the capacitor to the SS pin to enable an externally programmable soft-start time. Short-circuit and thermal overload protection circuits prevent the device from being damaged under adverse conditions. The ADP1763ACPZ-1.0 is housed in a 16-pin small LFCSP package, making it a compact solution suitable for various applications.
