Product Description

The ZSSC4175DE4R is an automotive thermocouple sensor signal conditioner (Renesas) designed to improve fuel economy and reduce emissions. The following are its key features:

Two differential thermocouple element inputs and an on-chip temperature sensor can be used for cold junction compensation and temperature output

Operating temperature range: -40 °C to 150 °C

Accuracy: Up to 5K at the hot end at 1000 °C

Support N-type thermocouples

NVM memory for configuring, calibrating data, as well as configurable measurement and adjustment functions

The SENT output complies with SAE J2716 JAN2010 (SENT Rev.3) and APR2016 (SENT Rev.4) standards

Support the output of one or more thermocouple signals and product identification through a single SENT interface connection

The end-of-line calibration process of the production line can minimize production costs to the greatest extent

No external finishing or components are required

Complies with the AEC-Q100 grade 0 standard

Enhanced diagnostic function of the sensor module


In addition, the ZSSC4175DE4R supports differential thermocouple input and is equipped with an internal cold junction compensation sensor, enabling high-precision measurements within the range of -40°C to 150°C (with an accuracy of 5K at 1000°C hot junction). This device digitally compensates for offset, sensitivity, temperature drift and nonlinearity through a 16-bit RISC microcontroller, eliminating the need for external equipment or laser adjustment and reducing assembly costs.
