OP297GSZ7 is a dual-channel operational amplifier that integrates precision performance into a space-saving industrial-standard 8-pin SO package, combining precision performance with low power consumption and ultra-low input bias current, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
The OP297GSZ7's precision performance includes extremely low offset (less than 50 µV) and low drift (less than 0.6 µV/°C). The open-loop gain exceeds 2000 V/mV, ensuring high linearity in any application. The common-mode rejection ratio exceeds 120 dB, effectively eliminating errors caused by common-mode signals. The power supply rejection ratio exceeds 120 dB, minimising offset voltage variations in battery-powered systems. Additionally, each amplifier draws less than 625 µA of supply current and can operate with supply voltages as low as ±2 V.
The OP297GSZ7 maintains picoamp-level bias current across all temperatures using a super-beta input stage with bias current cancellation. This contrasts with FET-input operational amplifiers. FET-input operational amplifiers have bias currents in the picoampere range at 25°C, but the bias current doubles for every 10°C increase in temperature; when the temperature exceeds 85°C, the bias current reaches the microampere range. The OP297GSZ7 has an input bias current of less than 100 pA at 25°C and remains below 450 pA across the entire military temperature range.
