The TCAN1042HVDR transceiver complies with the ISO 11898-2 (2016) high-speed CAN (Controller Area Network) physical layer standard and is specifically designed for CAN FD networks with data rates up to 2 Mbps. Versions with the ‘G’ suffix support data rates up to 5 Mbps, while versions with the ‘V’ suffix feature an auxiliary power input for I/O level conversion input pin thresholds and RXD output levels. The transceiver includes a low-power standby mode and supports remote wake-up request functionality, along with built-in protection features to enhance device and network robustness.
