The HMC705LP4 is a low-noise GaAs HBT programmable frequency divider in a pin-less, 4x4 mm, surface-mount package. The frequency divider can be programmed to divide the frequency (up to 6.5 GHz) by any number between N = 1 and N = 17. With its high operating frequency and low phase noise floor, the HMC705LP4E is ideally suited for high-performance fast-build frequency synthesiser architectures. The HMC705LP4E can be used with Hittite frequency discriminators, VCOs, and PLL ICs for low noise, fast build-up of phase-locked loops.
