The MSP430FR2512IPW16 is an ultra-low-power MSP430™ microcontroller (MCU) for capacitive touch sensing with CapTIvate™ touch technology for cost-sensitive applications where the application employs 1 to 16 capacitive pushbuttons or proximity sensing.The MSP430FR2512IPW16 MCU is suitable for applications Electromagnetic interference, oil, water and grease, creating value and high performance. These devices provide an IEC-certified solution that consumes up to five times less power than competitive solutions and supports proximity sensing and touch operation through glass, plastic, and metal coatings.
