The ADV3003ACPZ is a 4-channel TMDS (Minimised transmission Differential signal) buffer with balanced input and pre-weighted output. The ADV3003ACPZ's input and output terminals are both terminated with 50Ω resistors, providing full swing output signal recovery with minimal reflection to improve system signal integrity. The device is designed for HDMI™/DVI applications and is ideal for systems with long cables, long PCB tracks, and internal wiring designs.

ADV3003ACPZ device features

Support up to 2.25Gbps data rate, can achieve 1080p dark (12-bit color) HDMI format and UXGA (1600 × 1200) above DVI resolution.

12 dB Input cable The equalizer supports long cables for the input end. For a typical 24 AWG cable, the ADV3003 compensates losses of more than 20 meters at a maximum data rate of 2.25 Gbps.

With an optional 6 dB output pre-weight function, the ADV3003 can drive high-loss output cables or longer PCB tracks.

50 Ω in-chip input and output matching terminal resistors improve system signal integrity.

The external control pin PE_EN sets the output preweight to 0 dB or 6 dB.

The external control pin TX_EN disables both the transmitter and the on-chip input terminal resistor. This feature reduces the power consumption of the ADV3003 and informs the connected device source when the ADV3003 is disabled.
