The EQCO125X40C1T-I/3DW is a CoaXPress 2.0 transmitter/receiver with integrated equaliser, CDR(reclock) and cable driver. It is designed to send/receive signals on a single cable or PCB pair. In one direction, 8b/10b coded downlink signals are sent/received between 1.25 Gbps and 12.5 Gbps. In the opposite direction, lower speed 8b/10b coded uplink signals are sent/received at 20.833 Mbps or 41.666 Mbps.

The EQCO125x40 series comes in a 16-pin 0.65mm pitch and a 4mm QFN package. Applications include links for high-definition cameras, links between FPgas, machine vision, military, aerospace, medical, broadcast and surveillance cameras, and intelligent transportation systems.

Features:

The equalizer, via a Belden 1694A coaxial cable, has a maximum of 40 meters at 12.5Gbps and 130 meters at 1.25Gbps

The same chip is used for both the device (camera) and the host (image capture card), enabling asymmetric full-duplex communication

Low cost version EQCO125T40, used only on the device (camera) side

Supported cable types include 75 coaxial, 50 coaxial and 100 STP (shielded twisted pair)
