The DRA712BEGCBDRQ1 processor is available in a 538-ball, 17mm × 17mm, 0.65mm ball pitch (0.8mm pitch rule available for signals) Ball Grid Array (BGA) package with Via Channel™ Array (VCA) technology. 

The architecture is designed to provide high performance concurrency for automotive applications through cost-effective solutions that enable the DRA75x ("Jacinto 6 EP" and "Jacinto 6 Ex"), DRA74x, "Jacinto 6 EP" and "Jacinto 6 Ex" packages. The DRA75x ("Jacinto 6 EP" and "Jacinto 6 Ex"), DRA74x "Jacinto 6" and DRA72x "Jacinto 6 Eco" infotainment processor families are fully scalable, including graphics, voice, HMI, multimedia, and smartphone projection mode capabilities. 

Programmability is enabled by the single-core Arm Cortex-A15 RISC CPU with Arm Neon™ extensions and the TI C66x VLIW floating-point DSP. Arm processors enable developers to reduce system software complexity by separating control functions from other algorithms programmed on the DSP and coprocessors.
