The ADRF6850BCPZ is a highly integrated broadband quadrature demodulator, frequency synthesizer and variable gain amplifier (VGA). Operating in the frequency range of 100 MHz to 1000 MHz, the device is suitable for narrowband and wideband communication applications and is capable of performing orthogonal demodulation from mid-frequency (IF) directly to baseband frequencies.

The ADRF6850 demodulator includes a high-modulus fractional N-fraction frequency synthesizer with integrated VCO with a frequency resolution of better than 1 Hz, and the front-end VGA provides a gain control range of 60 dB.
