The MPX5050DP piezoresistive sensor is a state-of-the-art single piece silicon pressure sensor designed for a wide range of applications, especially those utilising a microcontroller or microprocessor with A/D inputs. This patented single element sensor combines advanced micromachining techniques, thin film metallisation and bipolar processing to provide a precise, high level analogue output signal proportional to the applied pressure.
