The MAX13487EESA is a + 5V-powered, half-duplex RS-485/ RS-422-compatible transceiver with ±15kV ESD protection, consisting of one driver and one receiver. The MAX13487E is hot-swappable to eliminate fault transients on the bus during power-on or hot-plug.
