The MAX13444EASA is a fault-protected RS-485 and J1708 transceiver that provides effective protection in the event of a fault voltage of up to ±80V on the communication bus line.The MAX13444E has a low-swing driver that significantly reduces EMI and reflections, enabling error-free data transmission of up to 250kbps. The high-speed MAX13443E RS-485 transceiver provides effective protection in the event of a fault voltage of up to ±60V on the communication bus line.

The MAX13444EASA is available in an 8-pin SO package and is rated to operate over the automotive-grade temperature range.
