The PCA9958HNY is a 24-channel SPI serial bus 63mA LED driver with a supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V. The device is optimised for dimming and blinking of RGBA LEDs.

PCA9958HNY: Each LED has its own fixed frequency with 8-bit resolution and operates at 31.25kHz with an adjustable duty cycle of 0%-100% for brightness control. The additional PWM controller has a fixed frequency of 122Hz and an adjustable frequency of 15Hz with a duty cycle of 0%-99.6% for dimming and flicker control.

The PCA9958HNY can regulate peak output current over a range of 250µA to 63.75mA using an 8-bit linear DAC.The PCA9958 features open and short circuit detection circuits and thermal shutdown protection. The device has a 10MHz 4-wire SPI bandwidth for communication with a local micro.
