The TJA1121AHN Ethernet transceiver adds MACsec to NXP's 1000BASE-T1 automotive Ethernet PHY product portfolio. It resolves the security issues of future networks and provides an efficient hardware-based solution for MACsec with a 1Gbps line rate. To enable the design of platforms with and without MACsec to achieve speed level expansion, TJA1121AHN is backward compatible with TJA1103, TJA1104 and TJA1120. This device adopts a compact package HVQFN36 (6x6mm), making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
