The ICM-40609-D is a 6-axis MEMS MotionTracking™ device that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer designed for the UAV market.The ICM-40609-D's form factor is compatible with our legacy UAV devices, making the transition to the newest product simple.

The ICM-40609-D features a state-of-the-art architectural design that improves the performance and accuracy of the IMU, making it an ideal UAV solution for controlling the stability of the platform during long flights and avoiding high temperature variations.

With a maximum ODR of 32 KHz, the ICM-40609-D has the highest sampling rate of any consumer device. The ability to capture data at such a high ODR allows customers to easily identify any anomalies or errors that need to be addressed during flight. The acceleration full scale range has also been increased to 32g, making it easy to track large amounts of linear motion.

Other industry-leading features include an on-chip 16-bit ADC, programmable digital filters, embedded temperature sensors and programmable interrupts. The device features I2 C and SPI serial interfaces, a VDD operating voltage range of 1.71V to 3.6V, and a separate VDDIO operating voltage range of 1.71V to 3.6V.
