The AD7294-2BSUZ-RL is a single-chip solution that integrates all the common functions required for current, voltage, and temperature monitoring and control. The device includes a low-voltage (±200 mV) analog input detection amplifier for shunt resistor current monitoring, a temperature detection input, and four non-proprietary analog input channels that are multiplexed to a SAR type analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a conversion time of 3 μs. Digital-to-analog converters (DAC) and ADCs are driven by high precision internal reference voltages. Four 12-bit Dacs provide the required output for voltage control. The AD7294-2 also includes a limit register for the alarm function.
