The AD5593RBCBZ-RL7 Configurable ADC/ADC with on-chip reference, I²C interface has 8 designers that can be individually configured for ADC output, ADC input, digital output or digital input I/O pins. When an I/O pin is configured for analog output, the device is driven by a 12-bit digital-to-analog converter. The output range of the digital-to-analog converter is 0V to VREF, or 0V to 2×VREF. When an I/O pin is configured as an analog input, the device is connected to a 12-bit ADC via an analog multiplexer. The input range of the ADC is 0V to VREF, or 0V to 2×VREF. Designers can also configure I/O pins as Universal Digital Input or Output (GPIO) pins.
