The Mixed Signal front-end (MxFE®) AD9082BBPZ4D2ACCSL is a highly integrated device with a 16-bit, 12-Gsps maximum sampling rate RF digital-to-analog converter (DAC) core and a 12-bit, 6-Gsps sampling rate RF Analog-to-digital converter (ADC) core. The AD9082 supports four transmitter channels and two receiver channels. The AD9082 is ideal for applications that require the use of wideband ADCs and Dacs to process signals with a wide instantaneous bandwidth.
The device features a 16-channel, 16.22 Gbps JESD204C or 15.5 Gbps JESD204B data transceiver port, an on-chip clock doubler, and digital signal processing (DSP) capabilities for wideband or multiband direct-to-RF applications.
The AD9082 also has a bypass mode that allows the full broadband capabilities of the ADC and/or DAC cores to bypass DSP data paths. The device also has a low delay echo and frequency hopping mode and is suitable for phased array radar systems and electronic warfare applications.
