The ADAS1021KCBZ-RL is a highly integrated analog front end (AFE) designed to measure patient biopotential information. The main measurement of electrocardiogram (ECG) activity, wherein ADAS1021 each channel uses a dedicated ADC, based on the lead for signal acquisition and digital processing. The architecture of signal acquisition supports low noise, diagnostic level measurements in the presence of various disturbances.

The ADAS1021 also includes three dedicated successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs to digitize the high-frequency pacemaker contents analyzed by the on-chip pacemaker detection algorithm.

Flexible dedicated impedance measurement modules capture impedance changes during patient respiration and support multi-lead applications.

The ADAS1021 has a number of complementary features to support ECG measurements: a drive reference for common-mode suppression and lead detachment detection, which identifies whether electrode connections are degraded or detached. The product also includes a shield drive amplifier for bias cable shielding.
