MAXM86161EFD+T is an ultra-low power, fully integrated, optical data acquisition system. On the transmitter side, the MAXM86161 has 3 programmable high current LED drivers. On the receiver side, the device contains an efficient PIN photodiode and an optical reading channel. The optical readout channel has a low noise signal conditioning analog front end (AFE) that includes a 19-bit ADC, an industry-leading ambient light offset (ALC) circuit, and fence detection and replacement algorithms. With its low power consumption, compact size, ease of use/flexibility, and industry-leading ambient light suppression capabilities, the MAXM86161 is ideal for a wide range of light detection applications, such as heart rate detection and blood oxygen.
