The MAX86916EFD+T is an integrated optical sensor platform for biometric, proximity and color detection applications. Devices include internal leds, photodetectors, and low noise electronic circuits with ambient light suppression circuits. The device helps simplify the design of all mobile and wearable devices.

The MAX86916 operates at a 1.8V power supply, and the internal LED uses a separate 5.5V power supply. Module communication fully adopts the standard I2C compatible interface. The module can be turned off by software, and the standby current is close to zero, allowing the power rail to maintain power supply all the time.
