The OPA4206APWR is the next generation of the industry-common OPAx277 family of devices with the additional feature of input overvoltage protection. These bipolar, e‑trim™ precision amplifiers with super-beta inputs use TI's proprietary fine-tuning technology to achieve input offset voltage drifts of ±4μV (typical) and ±0.08μV/°C (typical). Input overvoltage protection is activated when the input signal is outside the supply voltage range and provides 40V protection (beyond either supply voltage range). This feature eliminates the need for external circuitry to prevent amplifier damage, reducing size and cost.
