12A Synchronous SWIFT™ Buck Power Module with 4V to 18V Input and Advanced Current Mode

Product Description

The TPSM843A22RDGR is a high-efficiency 18V, 12A synchronous buck module with an internally compensated, fixed-frequency Advanced Current Mode (ACM) control architecture that generates output voltages ranging from 0.5V to 7V while operating in FCCM mode for extended periods of time. The module offers high efficiency and operates at switching frequencies up to 2.2MHz, and is available in a 6.5mm x 7.5mm x 4mm overmolded package, making it ideal for designs that require a small solution size. Additional features include a high accuracy voltage reference, optional soft start time, monotonic start-up to pre-biased output, optional current limit, adjustable UVLO via the EN pin, and full fault protection.

• 1-ms, 2-ms, 4-ms, and 8-ms selectable soft-start times

• Monotonic start-up into prebiased outputs

• Enable with adjustable input undervoltage lockout

• Power-good output monitor

• Output overvoltage, output undervoltage, input undervoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection

• –40°C to 125°C operating junction temperature

• 6.5-mm × 7.5-mm × 4.0-mm, 25-pin over-molded QFN package
