The STM32F400CBT6 device is based on a high-performance Arm®Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC kernel and operates at frequencies up to 100 MHz. The Cortex®-M4 kernel comes with a single-precision floating-point arithmetic unit (FPU) that supports all Arm single-precision data processing instruction and data types. It also has a complete DSP instruction set and a memory protection unit (MPU) to improve application security. The device belongs to the STM32 Dynamic Efficiency™ family of products that combine power efficiency, performance, and integration, adding an innovative feature called Batch Acquisition Mode (BAM) that further reduces power consumption during data batch processing.

The STM32F400CBT6 device integrates high-speed internal memory, Flash memory and SRAM capacities up to 128 K bytes and 32 K bytes respectively, and a large number of enhanced I/O and peripherals connected to two APB buses, one AHB bus and one 32-bit multi-AHB bus matrix.
