The L6986H5VTR is a step-down monolithic switching regulator that provides DC voltages up to 2 A. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.85 V to VIN. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.85 V to VIN, and the device achieves 100% duty cycle operation due to the use of a P-channel MOSFET high-side power element. The wide input voltage range complies with 5 V, 12 V, and 24 V power supply specifications. The "Low Power Mode" (LCM) is designed for applications that operate in idle mode.
