The AFE7799IABJ is a high-performance multi-channel transceiver that integrates four direct-up-conversion transmitter chains, four direct-down-conversion receiver chains, and two broadband RF sampling digitizing auxiliary chains (feedback paths). The high dynamic range of the transmitter and receiver chains allows 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G signals to be generated and received for wireless base stations. Low power dissipation and large-scale channel integration make the AFE7799 suitable for 4G and 5G massive MIMO base stations that are limited in both power and size.

• Four-way receiver based on 0-IF down-conversion architecture:

- RF receive bandwidth of up to 200MHz per chain

• Feedback chain based on RF sampling ADC:

- The RF receive bandwidth is up to 600MHz

• RF frequency range: 600 MHZ to 6GHz

• Broadband scores N PLL, VCO for TX and RX LO

• Integer N PLL, VCO specially used to generate data converter clock

• JESD204B and JESD204C serializer/destringer interfaces support:

- 8 serializer/deserializer transceivers up to 29.5Gbps

- 8b/10b and 64b/66b codes

- The format is 16 -, 12 -, 24 -, and 32-bit

- Subclass 1 Multi-device synchronization
