The AMC1300BDWVR is an isolated precision amplifier where the output and input circuits are separated by a barrier that is highly resistant to electromagnetic interference. The barrier is certified to provide enhanced galvanic isolation up to 5kVRMS according to VDE V 0884-11 and UL1577. When used in conjunction with an isolated power supply, the isolation amplifier separates devices in systems operating at different common mode voltage levels and prevents damage to lower voltage devices.

The input of the AMC1300 is optimised for direct connection to shunt resistors or other low voltage level sources. The device's excellent performance enables precise current control, which reduces system-level power consumption and, especially for motor control applications, torque ripple. The AMC1300's integrated common-mode overvoltage and no high-side supply voltage detection simplifies system-level design and diagnostics.
