The ACPL-C740-500E is a 1-bit second-order sigma-delta (Sigma-Delta) modulator based on optical coupling technology that converts analog input signals into high-speed data streams via current isolation. The ACPL-C740 is powered by a 5V supply and has a dynamic range of 86 dB with an appropriate digital filter. The 200 mV differential input (full scale 320 mV) is ideal for direct connection to shunt resistors or other low-level signal sources in applications such as motor phase current measurement.
