The ADS8528SPMR features eight low-power, successive approximation register (SAR)-based 12-bit analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs), each with true bipolar inputs. The channels are grouped in pairs of four and are capable of acquiring signals simultaneously at rates up to 650kSPS.
The devices allow a choice of parallel or serial interfaces and support daisy-chain connections. A programmable reference allows the processing of analogue input signals with amplitudes up to ±12V.
