The ADS8865IDRCR is a 16-bit, 400kSPS, true differential input, analogue-to-digital converter (ADC). The device operates with a 2.5V to 5V external reference to provide a wide signal range without additional signal conditioning. This reference voltage setting is independent of, and can exceed, the analogue supply voltage (AVDD).
The device provides an SPI-compatible serial port, which also supports daisy-chain operation for cascading multiple devices. An optional busy indicator bit allows easy synchronisation with the digital host.
