The MLX90614ESF-ACC-000-SP is an infrared thermometer for non-contact temperature measurement.The IR-sensitive thermopile detector chip and the signal conditioning ASIC are integrated into the same TO-39 can package.The MLX90614 integrates a low-noise amplifier, a 17-bit ADC, and a powerful DSP unit, so the thermometer combines high accuracy and high resolution. The thermometer is factory calibrated to provide measured temperatures over the full temperature range (0.02°C resolution) via a digital SMBus output. The digital output can be configured by the user for pulse width modulation (PWM). As standard, the 10-bit PWM is configured to continuously transmit measured temperatures between -20 and 120°C with a resolution of 0.14°C. The PWM output can also be configured to provide the user with the full temperature range (0.02°C resolution).
