The TLD5097EPXUMA1 is a very easy to use and flexible device that has no SPI but still has a very powerful feature set. It is very similar to the TLD5098EP, but has no dedicated PWM driver and no short-circuit protection to ground. As such, it is a good alternative device for applications where the electronics are integrated with the load in the same housing, like individually placed daytime running lights or some cost-effective LED headlights.
